Coin machines in Nürnberg
A pressed coin is probably the cheapest souvenir of a day out: insert a coin, turn the crank, done. In Nürnberg there are 6 locations for it with 16 known designs. You will mostly find them in these corners: Museum / Ausstellung / Erlebniswelt, Stadt / Plätze / Promenade, Zoo / Tierpark / Aquarium. Well-known spots are Verkehrsmuseum, Handwerkerhof, Hauptmarkt. Almost everywhere you pay with coins – €1 or €2 per pressing.

The machines take coins, usually €1 or €2 per pressing.
Newer machines also accept contactless payment.
Usually a 5-cent coin, occasionally a 2-cent coin.
You won’t need an extra 5-cent coin there.
Payment and blank details aren’t available for every machine yet – additions from the community are welcome.
