Coin machines in München

A pressed coin is probably the cheapest souvenir of a day out: insert a coin, turn the crank, done. In München there are 14 locations for it with 23 known designs. You will mostly find them in these corners: Museum / Ausstellung / Erlebniswelt, Zoo / Tierpark / Aquarium, Sonstiges / Spezial / Besonderheit. Well-known spots are Alter Peter Automat 1, Alter Peter Automat 2, Deutsches Museum. Almost everywhere you pay with coins – €1 or €2 per pressing.

Bring a 5-cent coin

You insert the coin into the machine and it gets pressed there.
