A pressed coin is probably the cheapest souvenir of a day out: insert a coin, turn the crank, done. In Mexiko-Stadt there are 6 locations for it with 21 known designs. You will mostly find them in these corners: Stadt / Plätze / Promenade, Temporäre Standorte (Messe, Event, etc.), Museum / Ausstellung / Erlebniswelt. Well-known spots are Aztekenstadion (Fußball WM 2026), Barrio chino (Ciudad de Mexico), Monumento a la Revolución. Almost everywhere you pay with coins – €1 or €2 per pressing.
