Coin machines in Barcelona
A pressed coin is probably the cheapest souvenir of a day out: insert a coin, turn the crank, done. In Barcelona there are 11 locations for it with 18 known designs. You will mostly find them in these corners: Shopping / Souvenir / Laden, Kirche / Dom / Wallfahrtsort. Well-known spots are Souvenirladen "Sagrada Familia", Turística (2025), Turística (2026-1). Almost everywhere you pay with coins – €1 or €2 per pressing. Of the 11 machines, 2 are currently reported as broken; the remaining 9 were working at the last report.

Newer machines also accept contactless payment.
You insert the coin into the machine and it gets pressed there.
