Coin machines in Barcelona
A pressed coin is probably the cheapest souvenir of a day out: insert a coin, turn the crank, done. In Barcelona there are 8 locations for it with 18 known designs. You will mostly find them in these corners: Kirche / Dom / Wallfahrtsort, Shopping / Souvenir / Laden. Well-known spots are Souvenirladen "Sagrada Familia", Turística (2025), Turística (2026-1). Almost everywhere you pay with coins – €1 or €2 per pressing. Of the 8 machines, 2 are currently reported as broken; the remaining 6 were working at the last report.
